Juha Pankakoski is the Chief Digital Officer and a member of the Group Executive Board in Konecranes Plc. In addition to responsibility over Information Systems and the overall Process Architecture, Juha also has the executive level responsibility of the company’s digitalization strategy. Juha Pankakoski has worked at Konecranes since 2004. He has previously held several management positions in operations and business development at Konecranes. Juha has a solid background both in IT and Service and Equipment businesses, and is therefore well suited to drive the development and co-operation between IT and business. Juha has a M.Sc. (Eng) degree and an eMBA. Before joining Konecranes Juha worked in telecommunications and IT. Hobbies: Juha spends his free time with the family, and enjoys endurance sports, reading and singing.

The company also offers container handling equipment, container handling equipment rubber tired gantry cranes, rail mounted gantry cranes, ship-to-shore gantry cranes, straddle carriers, automated container handling equipment, container lift trucks, and reach stackers; portal and storage yard cranes; block handling, plate handling, goliath gantry, floating dock, single boom shipyard, and double boom shipyard cranes; and fork lift trucks, container lift trucks, and reach stackers. In addition, it provides inspections and preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and retrofit, consultation, modernization, and machine tool services; TRUCONNECT, a suite of remote service products and applications to support maintenance operations and drive improvements in safety and productivity. Further, the company offers parts for all makes of lifting equipment, performance parts, equivalent parts, rebuilt parts, and reverse engineering. It serves automotive, container handling, manufacturing, mining, nuclear, petrochemical, power, pulp and paper, crane delivery, shipyards, steel, and waste to energy sectors. Konecranes Inc. was formerly known as Kranco Crane Services Inc. and changed its name to Konecranes Inc. in October 1995. The company was incorporated in 1994 and is based in Springfield, Ohio. Konecranes Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Konecranes Plc.
